On Sat, 6/11/11, GMARES members provided emergency communications for a Red Cross drill. The communications consisted of 2 meter and HF digital and voice message transmissions.

On Monday, March 29th, Goffstown CERT was activated (log) to provide door to door flood notifications in Danis and Lynchville parks. Several members from GMARES are also Cert members and provided radio support for the activation. NU1F acted as Net control from his house since at the present time communications from the Police Department to the repeater isn't possible. K1RHM acted as the EOC liason via simplex to NET while KB1SCR, N1FOX and KB1PYD were on location with the teams.

The repeater was used for the majority of communications but we switched to Simplex operations once it was determined that all parties could effectively communicate with each other (including the EOC).

On November 14th, GM-ARES participated in the statewide Simplex Emergency Training drill (SET). The purpose of this drill was to test simplex communications between various points of interest such as Schools, Hospitals, Police and Fire Departments and with the Emergency Operations Center in Concord NH.
